This is the latest addition to my hanger. HK450 with CopterX's 4 blade flapping head system!
On the head, the grips are free to flap and lead-lag so no need to have multi-axis gyro, as you do on the rigid heads.
The head is a direct replacement for the stock head. Have only had a chance to hover it so far, as there has been to much wind in the Cape, but wow is it stable! Just installed some woodies after 2 sets of FG blades got destroyed at the Velodrome after a Li-Po failed 30sec into flight one of the cells just died!

About $105, got mine for $95 with postage as I had a 10% discount code that they had emailed me! So the complete frame HK 450 and head cost me a little over a grand and I had the electronics already. Sold my 1st Belt-CP a while back so as to buy they head!

JUST REALIZED this Hobby ain't for students... oh well 2 late!!!

what an awesome head. saw that spin just before the bad event at the drome and that was a sweet sight. i wonder what it would be like at a lower headspeed as with my 123's

Bought it so i wouldn't need 2 buy a multi-axis gyro... Gets a little expensive that way though. But thanks.

O that's nice, imagine an EC-135 Fuselage with a fenestron on a 450 with this head, either way i'd take it just to add on my 450 pod and boom.
